Dilemmas in Suicide Prevention

Film Commentary – Dilemmas in Suicide Prevention

This film shows committed and compassionate healthcare professionals who face the inherent uncertainties and complex dilemmas in their efforts to save two mental health patients from taking their own lives. It aims to challenge us to think about the design of mental health care differently.
The film is inspired by true events and based on research by Loughborough University (references below) in Partnership with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, and is funded by the Patient Safety Collaborative and Health Education England.
